Renaissance beauty for your Christmas correspondence.
The story in the design
Mary holds the infant Jesus against a deep, shadowed background, her blue mantle bringing a quiet richness to the scene. A candle glows beside the figures. Taken from Raphael’s Madonna of the Candelabra, this traditional religious design lends a thoughtful finishing touch to Christmas cards and personal letters.
- Mary and the Christ Child
- The central figures share a close, gentle embrace.
- The blue mantle
- Rich blue fabric stands out against the dark background.
- The candlelight
- A small flame beside the figures adds warmth to the composition.
One design per booklet, repeated across 20 self-adhesive Forever stamps.
